Makers of the popular Fat Tire Ale, the New Belgium Brewing Company strives to mimic the varied ingredients used in the famed Belgian brews in order to create a new taste for the American market. Every year, the brewery makes more than 300,000 barrels of their many beers, including the Blue Paddle Pilsner and the Sunshine Wheat Beer. Participants in the guided tour will learn about the science of brewing beer, the bottling process and the company's commitment to the environment through its "green" building and energy-efficient practices. The brewery is located just north of downtown, near Fort Collins Heritage Park.

Definitely a place any beer drinker should visit. They're really proud of their green efforts, which just makes it all the better to encourage (by touring, tasting & buying their brews, that is).
